The 0.2.12 Version of Faraland has been released with plenty of fascinating new features, with Skill Book function in the PvP mode being the selling point. With a constantly diversified in-game Skill system, we are also introducing mechanisms that allow players to interact with heroes’ Skill Trees and Skill Books right from within the game, which would give them extensive flexibility in switching strategies.
How to make changes to a hero’s learned Skills?
Heroes’ basic stats and datas are stored on-chain. Therefore, in order to get heroes to learn skills, players need to go to our website. The in-game Skill picking system will allow players to switch among the skills that a hero has learned into the match (3 Skills in the Skill tree and 2 from Skill Books at max), depending on the desired strategy and the corresponding formation.
NOTE: PLAYERS CAN EQUIP 2 SKILL BOOKS INTO THE GAME, BUT ONLY ONE OF THEM CAN BE USED (UPON ONE’S BEING USED, THE OTHER WILL AUTOMATICALLY GET DISABLED.) DEPENDING ON THE SITUATION, PLAYERS SHOULD DECIDE WHICH SKILL BOOK TO USE.
NOTE#2: PASSIVE SKILLS MUST ALSO BE SELECTED INTO THE MATCH TO BE EFFECTIVE (EACH PASSIVE SKILL WILL TAKE 1 IN 5 SKILL SLOTS).
On your main UI, click Heroes.
A Hero’s skills will be illustrated in the section underneath the equipment (correspondingly 3 Skills from the Skill tree and 2 Skills from the Skill books). Players can click [+] to start selecting skills.
Select a skill, and then the desired slot for it, then press PICK to confirm
