Faraland’s on-chain conquest layer just leveled up. The latest update to the Land War system brings a complete combat and recovery loop directly to the Land Details page — turning land ownership from a passive asset into an active, defendable territory. Here’s what’s new.
Deploy Your Knights to the Front Line
Land War runs on knights and soldiers, not just land ownership. You can now:
- Deposit All Heroes — stake your heroes into the Land War contract with a single click. The UI automatically pulls your owned heroes , filters out ones already deposited, and handles the approval flow for you if it’s your first time.
- Withdraw Heroes — pull your heroes back out whenever you want, with a new checklist-style selector that lets you pick exactly which heroes to withdraw (or select all at once).
Defend and Attack Land — With Controllable Actions
Combat actions are no longer fire-and-forget. Previously, defending or attacking a plot automatically committed all of your available soldiers. Now:
- Defend Land opens a dedicated dialog where you choose how many soldiers to commit (minimum 100 required), with your available soldier count shown live. Note*: with each hero you will have 100 soldiers
- Attack Land works the same way, but only appears once a land becomes vulnerable, and shows you exactly how many soldiers are currently defending the target before you commit troops.
- Withdraw Soldiers lets you pull your deployed soldiers back from a land you’re defending, again with a precise amount input instead of an all-or-nothing action.
This gives players much finer-grained tactical control — hold soldiers in reserve, probe a defense without overcommitting, or retreat partially. You can help your alliance and friend by deploying troops to their lands in order to defending large-scale offensive from enemies.
Medical Center
This is the headline addition: a full Medical Center section for healing wounded troops after battle.
- Healing Phase — injured soldiers can be sent to the Medical Center to begin recovery.
- Recovery Timer — every session takes a set recovery duration (pulled live from the contract and shown in human-readable form, e.g. “2 hours”), so you always know when your troops will be battle-ready again.
- Call Back Recovered Soldiers — once the recovery timer expires, a “Call Back” action returns healed soldiers to active duty, with a live countdown shown until they’re ready.
- Unlock Medical Center — new players (or those wanting more capacity) can unlock a medical center directly from the UI.
The panel also displays your current center count, recovery time, and healing capacity at a glance, plus an inline explainer for anyone new to the mechanic.
Smarter Result and Status Display
- Claim Crystals now shows a live countdown until rewards are claimable, and hides itself entirely once there’s nothing left to claim.
- Occupier status, vulnerability window, and defending soldier counts are now driven by UTC-normalized timestamps, fixing timezone inconsistencies that previously could make a land appear vulnerable (or safe) at the wrong time.

Under the Hood
This update wires up the full set of Land War contract calls — attack, defend, withdraw soldiers/knights, heal, call back, claim rewards, and the new unlock-medical-center action — into the app’s transaction layer, alongside a redeployed Land War contract address. Player state fetching was extended to pull recovery timers and medical center capacity straight from the chain, so every number you see in the UI reflects real, current on-chain state.
Land War is shaping up to be Faraland’s most interactive social system yet — less “set and forget,” more active territorial combat. Deploy your heroes, commit your soldiers wisely, and don’t forget to send your wounded to the Medical Center.
